 Experts states, the Tamil people appealing for refugee status in Australia are not terrorists but they are refugees. Clive William who has links with terrorism said, Sri Lankan government is focusing the Tamils as terrorists, as they belong to the Tamil community. |
| Clive William while gave an interview to the ‘œThe Aged’ newspaper said, an accusation was recently submitted that the Sri Lankan Tamils entering Australia from the year 2008, has links with Tami Eelam Liberation tigers. A major portion of north and east region in Sri Lanka was in the control of Tamil Eelam Liberation tigers, and at that period, most number of people were under their regime. But Clive pointed out that as they were under the TamiL Eelam Liberation tiger’’s control, they cannot be pointed out as Tamil Eelam Liberation tigers. He said during this period, people who were living in the north and eastern region may have joined the liberation tiger movement or some of them would have been killed. He said, among them some may had participated in the activities of Libration tigers, and a small section of people without involving in the activities of liberation tigers may had funded the movement. But such activities may had occured due to the severe pressure hence they were compelled to fund the movement , which every one should understand was mentioned by Prof.Williams. He said, he oppose to permit Tamils with blood stains to Australia, but according to his knowledge, 99 percent of Tamils arriving Australia, their records are clear, and they does not have any blood stains, which was mentioned by the Expert.. |
