 Colombo Fort Magistrate today ordered in writing to the Prison Commissioner to ensure General Sarath Fonseka’’s right to his parliamentary privileges. According to this, all facilities to be provided for attending parliament was mentioned in the court order. |
| General Sarath Fonseka yesterday requested Speaker Chamal Rajapake to summon the Army Commander before the parliament and question him, as his rights to parliament has been violated. He pointed out that he was not allowed to attend the Parliamentary Consultative Committee meeting on July 16 |
