 JVP has insisted that Inspector General of Police Mahinda Balasooriya should resign from his position. A Ruhunu university student was recently under attack and was killed. |
| JVP accuse the death is due to the attack by the police. But Inspector General of Police in regard to this incident arranged a sudden media briefing and informed that there is no evidence of police assault against the student. JVP question, why a media briefing is held, if Police is not involved in this incident. This clearly establishes, that the police had deleted the evidences, which proves that police is in the initiative of a conspiracy in arresting innocent students, is clearly exposed was mentioned by JVP Parliament Member Anurakumara Tissanayake. |
