The Colombo High Court ordered five years rigorous imprisonment to Wellington D Horde the second respondent mentioned in the case charged against Sarath Fonseka for the allegations of involvement in arms procurement through the Hycope organization owned by Sarath Fonseka’’s son-in-law Danuna Thilakaratne. The punishment had been given to him as he had accepted the charges was mentioned. |
| In the meantime the main respondent to this case Danuna is still absconding. Sarath Fonseka is designated as the third respondent. Sarath Fonseka’’s secretary Senaka Silva had been released today by the Colombo Magistrate court. Senaka De Silva had been serving remand prison, for charges that he was engaged in conspiracy against the government. |
