 JVP Parliament Member Anurakumara Tissanayake said, violence incidents occurring in universities and his party does not have any connection. He pointed out the JVP which was not involved in violence during election period, will not get engaged in university violence. |
| He said, democratic based protests are processed outside the parliament, similarly protests are held in universities. Government is in the initiative of revealing such confusions, because the silence atmosphere maintained in the university may get favorable to the JVP Party’’s political activities. He made this statement at a media briefing held at the JVP Head office. |
