United National party Deputy Leader Karu Jayasooriya said, the pains of missing persons should not be carried to the future generations. While he attended a memorable service to the missing persons he made this statement. |
| He said a international declaration should be implemented as a bill in the Sri Lankan parliament in protecting all persons gone missing. He urged the tears of Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim people should be comprehended. All should gather to impede future missing incidents which he insisted. If missing person’’s incidents continue, it will tarnish the reputation of the country. If law and discipline is maintained in the country, such missing incidents will not occur which he mentioned. |
